Computer Mapping |
The Tangipahoa Parish Assessor and the Tangipahoa Parish Clerk of Court joined efforts in 1996 to create parcel maps. The project is about 90 percent complete. We are currently in the stage of performing quality control checks on the drawing that have been completed and updating those drawing as changes of property owners occur.
The mapping section is located in the Clerk of Courts' Office at the Amite Courthouse. One may contact the mapping department by calling 985-748-4146. The Assessors' Office also has access to these ownership maps in the Hammond, LA office.
Persons wanting copies of ownership maps with or without aerial photography must contact the mapping department in the Clerk of Court's Office for these services. The parcel maps are not available on the internet.
